Rain-Making And The 'New Mysteries' Reemerging In Our Times
Last weekend, at a two hour mini-workshop with a small group in Kona focused on ancestors, we happened to mention the previous event where the group had been successful in encouraging the rain. The islands are still in an exceptional drought, and as we discussed the problem, we brought up that success story and lo and behold, it began to sprinkle. The sprinkles turned into a soaker that evening so I think we’re on to something.
We are currently on the road and during those long drives, my thoughts have been turning toward the ‘New Mysteries’ that are reemerging in our time. Accordingly, I am going to create a series of monthly essays about the New Mysteries to be posted under Shaman Wisdom on our site. The first is now up and is titled Science, Religion, Spirituality And The Supernatural.
Happy Solstice!

I think you are on to something. too!
I have a bamboo rattle that when I move it it sounds like rain falling. About the same time as your ceremony I was in my little art studio and I decided to do a rain dance as we were having a drought also!
So I put the rattle above my head and danced my own little rain dance. It worked and it worked and it worked. It's still working. It rained again last night.
My trees are growing, the cattle are up to their bellies in delicious grass and the air is moist. And I live in dry, mostly dusty, Turner Valley, Alberta, Canada.
Today I am going to do another dance to manifest finances so I can attend one of your courses!
I have read your books, saw you in Victoria, Canada at UVic and was so disapointed when the classes were cancelled on the Gulf Islands.
Thank you so much for your newsletters.
