A Soulful Invitation to Journey Together

Dear Seekers,

As a teaching community, we have heard many of you wanting more time, more sharing and more support in discovery and exploring your own Shamanic Practice. Therefore, we have created Shamanic Foundations: Journeys of Empowerment, Protection and Support.

Ellen Grossman and Carol Asiaghi, long time students of Hank Wesselman and Jill Kuykendall and shamanic practitioners are excited to be offering you an opportunity to explore in depth the healing practice of Shamanic Journeywork.

In this 8-week course, we have expanded to a 2-hour time frame, creating space for sharing, longer break out groups, journaling and looking for common themes of understanding. Having two teachers or guides will allow for more one on one interaction and answering questions.

Whether you are a long-time journeyer or new to this spiritual practice, we will guide on well-worn paths clearly delineated to connect and receive guidance, power and protection from beyond the veil, which Michael Harner, Phd, (The Way of The Shaman) named non-ordinary reality.

If you are currently in the SharedWisdom Live Visionary Circle, this can be an opportunity to hone your skills in a more intensive compliment to that circle, while helping you integrate more of what you glean. And if you are new to the Shamanic Worlds, this is a great place to begin!

The Spirit World is populated with helping Spirits and each of us have our team ready and willing to be called into service to support us as we live our lives in challenging times, they just must be asked.

We will use Hank Wesselman’s book Journeys to the Sacred Garden as a foundation piece of shamanic principle to explore, your own Sacred Garden, the dreaming of this lifetime, the Lower, Middle and Upper Worlds.

And as Hank’s esteemed Hawaiian Elder friend, Hale Keoalohalani Makua, used to say we need to enter this world with Humility, Respect and Reverence. Meaning the core foundations of any spiritual practice are worthy or refreshing and revisiting. This deepens our connections, our AKA cords.

In this course, you will:

In a Busy World…

We Often Forget to Go Within

We live in a time of constant noise, distraction and demand.

Even those of us drawn to spiritual practice can find ourselves drifting. Our journeys becoming infrequent. Our connection to helping spirits growing faint. And our sense of inner knowing harder to access.

Meet Your Guides:

Carol Gerthoffer Asiaghi

Carol Gerthoffer Asiaghi, is a Shamanic Practitioner and Interfaith Minister, She spent 30 years as a textile designer and innovator in New York’s fashion industry, all the while studying shamanism and Spirituality. She first went out to Hawai’i to study with Hank and Jill in 1998, and subsequently went every year for the next 5 years. She had the privilege of knowing Hale Makua, and receiving direct teachings from him.

In 2003, Carol became an Interfaith Minister, regularly working at the United Nations Chapel.

She took Hank & Jill’s continuum 2013-2016, and their online classes. After 25 years of study, they shared a friendship and bond.

After retiring Carol became an InterSpiritual Counselor, 9 years ago, she and her husband moved to Asheville, North Carolina where her Soul Retrieval and Counseling practice has thrived. She now sees clients, and teaches both online and in person.

Ellen Grossman

Ellen Grossman has been a Threshold Guide for over 40 years. As a nurse-midwife, she accompanied thousands of women through deep rites of passage more than 2 decades.

In 2005, she began studying Shamanic Practices with Hank Wesselman and Jill Kuykendall and has never stopped learning since. For 15 years, she has led weekly and sometimes twice weekly Shamanic Journey groups. She is passionate about the Sacred Conversations that happen when people gather and go into the Shamanic realms and come back with information to share.

At present, she has a vibrant private practice as a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner where she incorporates shamanic practices and the Soulcraft practices of Bill Plotkin in an IFS framework. She also leads workshops and retreats.
